Hey guy welcome back. So oh my gosh, blogmas ends tomorrow! TOMORROW IS CHRISTMAS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I don’t know how it is Christmas. But that also means that in three days, it will be our 6 month anniversary. Okay I need to stop this is overwhelming.
Today I thought I would tell you how to make a keychain that you can give as a gift. It might be a little late for It to be a Christmas gift but you can always use it for another occasion.
You will need
Some felt or fabric
If you use fabric you will need a fabric stiffener and a paint brush
some sturdy ribbon
a swivel hook
a needle and thread
a design in mind
draw your design on your piece of fabric or felt and fold it in half. cut it out and you should have two identical pieces
If you used fabric, take your fabric stiffener and the paintbrush and cover both pieces in the stiffener. Make sure you coat both sides of each piece. Let dry completely.
Cover one side of each piece of fabric with a layer of mod podge and sprinkle glitter all over. Make sure you turn the pieces over and let the extra glitter fall off
While the mod podge is drying take a piece of your ribbon, make it as long or short as you want but leave some extra room. Put about one inch through the swivel hook and sew it to the longer piece
Grab your pieces of fabric and flip one over so the glitter is facing down. Place your ribbon on top and then the other piece of fabric, glitter facing up, on top. You can either glue everything or sew it here. It really depends on what you’d rather do.
