Hey guys, welcome back. So as you already know, I am currently away on a Girl Scout trip with no wifi so this post is scheduled. As I am writing this it is currently 1 week before this will be posted. I get back home today and I already know I am going to be super tired so this was probably one of my better ideas.
Anyway if you did miss the last part you can check that out by clicking here.
Monday afternoon, the final bell has just rang and I am at my locker. I put in a few books and take one out before shutting it and looking around. My friends are no where to be seen which is odd considering I’m their ride home.
The hallways are actually really quiet. Only a few students remain and they all walk quickly with their heads down.
What the heck? I think.
My footsteps are loud as I make my way towards the main entrance and parking lot. And then, I hear my name behind me. A voice I barley recognize. It’s soft and even. So familiar but I can’t think of who it is.
And when I turn around, I don’t know who it is. She’s short and has really long light brown hair. Her eyes are large and she doesn’t carry a backpack. As she begins to walk towards me, I recognize her.
I walk toward her quickly. This is urgent. She would not be here if it wasn’t. I don’t want to go back. I don’t want to believe it’s real. But now I don’t think I have a choice.
“I told you to come back. Autumn, you have no idea how important this is. I know you decided you would come back but you have to. It is very dangerous for you. We need to figure out your powers. Today.”
And before I can say anything, she takes my hand, marches me outside, and with one wave of her hand we’re back in her classroom.
See ya soon!!!
