How I Get Past Creative Blocks

Hey guys, welcome back. Today, while I was watching some YouTube videos, one of the creators mentioned having a bit of a creative block where they weren’t filming videos because they just couldn’t figure out what they wanted to do. And that gave me the idea to make this post.

I’m quite a creative person and as someone who likes to share my creations with other people through things like blogging, for example. That makes a kind of pressure to keep creating, even if people aren’t demanding that I make new things, I feel as though I should be creating new stories, drawings, posts that make you think, etc. This of course means that sometimes I run out of ideas or I just lose the motivation to create.

So I have compiled a list of things that I do to get past creative blocks.

1. Get Inspiration From Others

There is nothing wrong with taking inspiration from other people. Obviously, don’t copy their idea, but if you read someone elses blog post for example and it just makes you think, “Wow, that was really good. I really want to write something like that.” then that’s fine. I do this a lot, if I ever feel like I have nothing to write about, I read other people’s posts and then eventually I get an idea of my own.

2. Take A Break

If you’ve been staring at your computer screen for an hour trying to write that essay, it’s probably not going to come to you. So, turn the computer off, walk away, and do something else for a while. Give your brain a break for an hour and then come back and try again.

3. Put On Some Background noise

I always have something on in the background when I’m writing blog posts. Sometimes I have music but most times I have a YouTube video on. In fact, I’m watching a video right now as I’m writing this. For whatever reason, it helps. When I’m doing homework I even have something on in the background and it makes it easier for me to focus on the task at hand.

Well that’s it from me today. I hope you enjoyed and if you try any of these out and they help you, let me know. Also feel free to comment any other tips that you may have. Thanks for reading and have a great rest of your day or night.

See ya soon!!!

School and exercise!

Hey guys today was very much better!!!

I had a science project today worth 100 points and my average was an 82 so I was determined to boost it up. So my teacher said we could use index cards but we would loose 5 points if we read off of them so unlike the other people I memorized my two pages and got an 100!!!

That’s gonna boost my average up a lot so I’m pretty excited!

Right now I’m exercising my ass off because I feel very functional.. Yet I haven’t even done my homework! God so im writing this on my moms elliptical.. And I feel accomplished overall!

I got new sweatpants for Hannukah and that makes me even more happier!

Blogmas day 3

Hey guys this blogmas is about surviving family. We all have that one annoying aunt! And the siblings whew forget about it.

1.Think before you speak to them.

Think before you say something. It might offend someone which could start fighting. Or someone could take a funny comment as rude and snap back at you. So don’t try to roast your grandma at the table.

2.Take time to enjoy them

As hard as this one is try to enjoy their presence. if your cousins live far away take this time to appreciate them being there. Don’t ask them, so where have you been. Too forward. Instead say, I haven’t seen you in so long! Where have you been!

3.Make sure you tell them how much they mean to you.

This one is a must. If you love your family do this. They always take you into account now it’s time to take them into account.

Hope this was helpful!

What the heck

Hey guys I’m so done with my bus. There are so many nice people on my bus and them I love but these girls on my bus ruin it all. We will address them by Snotty S and Greedy G. (SS,GG)

So SS and GG always sit by themselves on our overly crowded bus and there’s usually no room for some people

So today my line was first in the bus and SS wasn’t there yet so as a joke we all sat by ourselves but quickly moved back to sitting with two people. But one kid sat by himself and SS came on the bus an told him you have to double up.

The literal words were so FRIKIN ugh I don’t even want to go into what I was thinking. All I could say was ‘look who’s talking’ but the most messed up part is that after he got up she sat down by herself….

I wanted to strangle her. Please comment what I should say to her. I just ugh god. Anyways this is a short blog and a blog-mas is coming after this!

Winter themed room blogmas

Hey have you ever wanted to decorate your dorm room, room, house, etc.? Wait what am i asking I sound like a saleswoman but of course you have!

So here are some easy diys you can do to spruce up your room(s)!!!!

First off if you don’t have a Christmas or winter themed blanket go out and buy a comfy inexpensive one please!

  1. Peace sign on wall with  the words joy in the middle

What you will need;

  • A clear wall or space on wall in your room
  • ductape, ribbon, or magazines(any of these will work but choose one)
  • tape
  • scissors
  • a computer, printer (optional)
  • Pencil w/ eraser(after you take the sign down)

  1. Use your clear area and set how large you want your peace sign to be.
  2. Use a pencil (you can erase this after the season is over and you take it down If you like) to shape the circle. I suggest using a plate to trace depending how big you want it
  3. Using your material go over your circle. If it’s the duct tape then just go over it. If it’s ribbon use tape to secure it on.
  4. Once your circle is a decently looking circle then you can cut out your words either saying joy or love or whatever(printing out the letters are optional too)

2.Countdown to Christmas/holiday of choice

What you’ll need;

  • Hanging chalkboard
  • Holiday themed bows
  • Tinsel/glitter
  • nail

  1. Put your nail in the wall unless you already have nail or something less permanent
  2. Decorate the outer edges of the chalkboard with your ribbon, tinsel, glue some glitter on

Ta Da!!!!!!!!! And the last one is pretty simple

3.tinsel in a winter jar

What you’ll need:

  • Clear jar with holiday snowmen or decor on the outside
  • Tinsel(gold stands out more)

  1. Pretty self explanatory take your jar and place it on a clear area where you can see it
  2. Place the tinsel in

It looks really pretty I love it! ❤

Hope you enjoyed the second blog and hope you want more!
